Fathers day blessings
Hooray it fabers day!! Those were the first few words out of bubby's mouth this morning when he woke up! hilarious! Then the kids went around to all our boy cats telling them hfd, uncle Bj got a HFD, our waiter, pretty much every man my kids saw today.....they are so cute. So, I didn't get to spend a lot of my time with my dad because he was playing baseball so mom took all of us to Olive Garden. It was soooo precious, before our food got there Alexander told everyone to hold hands so we could pray. So we all hold hands and bow our heads and he said his prayer, "Thank you god for my mommy, daddy, sissy, mamaw, my tractor..(and with mamaws help cause mommy was crying) our food that helps us grow" Tears started to flow. I was soooo proud of him!! I love that he understands that we have to thank God for the things that he has provided for our family. When I was always growing up and we sat down for dinner we always held hands during prayer so that "Our circle would be unbroken" It funny cause at times when someone wasn't there and our circle was broken I remember my heart being the same way.
So, with lots of laughter during dinner and a few serious discussions we had a suprise visitor. jonathan went to use the restroom and came back with Ms. Mackenzie!!(Ashlyns teacher from CAI) Ashlyn was speechless, she couldn't figure out how her teacher got out of school! (i guess kids think that teachers just live there and don't go out in public) The first thing bubby told her was "Me goin to school...and..uh huh...um... and me goin to Cubbies uh huh, and me gonna learn uh huh...." (I was correcting his grammer the whole time telling him to say "I'', "i'm") It was exciting to see Michelle and we were all thrilled.
Then we went to his parents and then off to the Great- Grandparents , aka GG
GG's was full of excitement...too much for me so daddy and bubby took off to the property to work and play in the creek. Ashlyn and I stayed in the A/C....we are spoiled!
So, all-in-all it was a very happy fathers day. I am so blessed to have a husband who loves his family more than anything in this world and wants nothing more than to spend time with them. I love you Jonathan and I thank God for you today and everyday!
Oh, I also need to give a big thank you to Amanda Bodkin. We had an issue with our sitter situation last night for our Anniversary plans and she came through like a hero!! We went to the Big & Rich concert at Caesars and it was awesome!! They sang the song "lost in this moment with you" and Jonathan and I danced like we were the only ones there. Then they sang a song for the Veterans and it brought people to tears. We ended the night with a nice dinner at Legends and then were back home and in bed by 10ish. What started out to be a terrible horrible no good very bad day ended up to be wonderful! It's hard to believe that at the end of this month its going to be 6 years.....WOO HOOOO, we did it baby!!!!
Thats it, I'll have to post pics tomorrow b/c Jonathan is pulling in and I am supposed to be cleaning the kitchen so he can bring in groceries.... <3

quick update
while I am waiting patiently on mom to get her butt in gear and go shopping with sis and I, I think this is a good time to give a quick update on the house...
So, we counter offered the offer we got with 123,700 (if I remember correctly) with 1500 c/c and the 400 warranty. well, they came back and offered to do 125,000 (listing price) with 3,000 c/c and no warranty. We said "we'll take it"!!!!
The home inspector will be there Friday and then we will have an appraisal done and we will be good to go.....I'm so excited!!! Everything is just going so good with our life right now, Praise God and thank you to all who have kept us in your prayers!! Love to all, I'm going to DRAG mom away now....with the help of Ashlyn sayin "c'mon mamaw, Please can we go?!?!"

A time for change...
Hope ya got time.......
Ok, so, Jonathan and I aren't really the type of family that have a lot of "change" in our lives. Its funny cause I am the one who likes to do things on the drop of a dime and Jonathan likes a plan. It's our happy medium. So for the past 4 years life has been pretty much the same. Get up, go to work, same ol same ol. Well, now that the house is on the market we have pretty much ran smack dab into change. BIG CHANGE...here goes it
With moving into the new house soon our budget will change dramatically...in a good way :-)
Jonathan has made the big decision to leave Ford Motor Co. yeah... He will be taking a buyout package and his last day is tomorrow...We have always talked about how we wish that we could afford for one of us to stay home with the kids instead of having to pay childcare or give Jonathans parents the chance to be grandparents instead of "babysitters", they have watched both kids everyday for 2 years, taxied them places, running errands, back and forth to Christian Academy, etc. I am truly blessed to have them!
weell, Jonathan has always worked for Ford and never really thought that he would do anything else -withwhat Ford offers...why would you leave...but now he has decided that he would like to go back to school and do something for the better of himself. He has to go for 2 years to receive the benefits. He is actually really excited...I'm a lil sick in my tummy...It's just weird...6 years ago when we got married (6-30-01)things at Ford were perfect.....things have changed. We still get most of the benefits though, school is paid for, Insurance for 2 years, a cost of living income, time with the family, being a closer family. It's a choice that we feel will give him a chance to have a job that he enjoys instead of one that he dislikes completely....he will work part-time but will be focusing mainly on school....enjoying your job is just too important, he deserves to be happy with his place of employment!! We also want to work at being more "active" with their school, church and other activities...Our kids deserve it
The house:
Good news: we got an offer!
WOO HOO (thats what I said)
Bad news: they offered $7,500 less than asking...while expecting 3m in closing costs, immediate possession at closing, warranty on all appliances...
ME: "You got me trippin", are you serious?! No really, they have to be crazy
Good News: sent them a counter offer
Bad news: Their realtor is on vacation and we gave them till monday to give us an answer... I am not a patient person at all!!
Work:
Not too bad, mom and I are the "5'clock pipettes". we are closing the store everynight. I try to run jobs so that Diane in graphics can do her magic instead of having to jump up and run a job, fix jammed paper, sit back down to work on graphics and the duplo "beep beep beep"(argh! get up walk to duplo, hit red button hit green button, box, sit down and have it happen again, LOL, everytime) you catch my drift...back to 5CP, so mom does all the paperwork and I close out the drawer and shut off machines...I even filed...twice! It also gives us a chance to come up with great ideas or for her to tell me what needs to be done....I am so blessed to be able to have a wonderful relationship with my boss...and mom :-)
Jessica is taking some well deserved time off work before our little piplet arrives. She is constantly on her feet, placing orders, running jobs, running front counter, helping Kathy so that she can be out selling, laminating-you can always count on her. I WILL MISS YOU!! but really, I remember how hard it was to just be up when I was that prego! Plus, i think if 1 more of her customers says :"why, you're still here....when ya gonna have that baby?!".....someone may get hurt...(really bad)
Headaches: well, I had 2 good days and thats about that...today was horrible! Headaches+medicine=nausea....The medicines that i have tried so far have helped the actual pain go away but 1 knocks me out cold...for a day, one makes me sick to my stomach...why can't i just be normal....LOL it always makes me picture that of the part in "Kindergarden Cop" where Arnold swartzanager...yeah, totally off...says "I've got a headache" kid says, "maybe its a tumor" Arnold, "It's nad a tomah" I d/kwhy so don't ask...
so, thats whats up with the Krazy House of Kane, I am nervous yet excited about the change....It's funny cause when I was younger I always pictured myself marrying (dramatic music and screen blurs, lol) a man who would come home in his suit and put his breifcase down and talk about his day while I made dinner and yada yada yada....and I fell in love with someone totally different....funny how things change...Momma once said that Its funny that we try to plan our life.....God already has it done.
Thats what I love about momma! Instead I have a husband who cooks me dinner, takes care of our children, is willing to do something to better himself and his family, is willing to work with the whole in-law family, and love me when I turn my hair green (yeah, me to jessie, we need to start a support group) I've got it good I have to say!
alright, so please pray for us. Some say that we are crazy....hello, we met and got married within a year, had 2 kids in 2 years....what do you think?! But this is what we feel we are supposed to do with our life. I am looking forward to carpooling, lunches and smooches while working with my best friend. We just have to remember....we didn't plan it...it was already done...why question it?
