Hooray it fabers day!! Those were the first few words out of bubby's mouth this morning when he woke up! hilarious! Then the kids went around to all our boy cats telling them hfd, uncle Bj got a HFD, our waiter, pretty much every man my kids saw today.....they are so cute. So, I didn't get to spend a lot of my time with my dad because he was playing baseball so mom took all of us to Olive Garden. It was soooo precious, before our food got there Alexander told everyone to hold hands so we could pray. So we all hold hands and bow our heads and he said his prayer, "Thank you god for my mommy, daddy, sissy, mamaw, my tractor..(and with mamaws help cause mommy was crying) our food that helps us grow" Tears started to flow. I was soooo proud of him!! I love that he understands that we have to thank God for the things that he has provided for our family. When I was always growing up and we sat down for dinner we always held hands during prayer so that "Our circle would be unbroken" It funny cause at times when someone wasn't there and our circle was broken I remember my heart being the same way.
So, with lots of laughter during dinner and a few serious discussions we had a suprise visitor. jonathan went to use the restroom and came back with Ms. Mackenzie!!(Ashlyns teacher from CAI) Ashlyn was speechless, she couldn't figure out how her teacher got out of school! (i guess kids think that teachers just live there and don't go out in public) The first thing bubby told her was "Me goin to school...and..uh huh...um... and me goin to Cubbies uh huh, and me gonna learn uh huh...." (I was correcting his grammer the whole time telling him to say "I'', "i'm") It was exciting to see Michelle and we were all thrilled.
Then we went to his parents and then off to the Great- Grandparents , aka GG
GG's was full of excitement...too much for me so daddy and bubby took off to the property to work and play in the creek. Ashlyn and I stayed in the A/C....we are spoiled!
So, all-in-all it was a very happy fathers day. I am so blessed to have a husband who loves his family more than anything in this world and wants nothing more than to spend time with them. I love you Jonathan and I thank God for you today and everyday!
Oh, I also need to give a big thank you to Amanda Bodkin. We had an issue with our sitter situation last night for our Anniversary plans and she came through like a hero!! We went to the Big & Rich concert at Caesars and it was awesome!! They sang the song "lost in this moment with you" and Jonathan and I danced like we were the only ones there. Then they sang a song for the Veterans and it brought people to tears. We ended the night with a nice dinner at Legends and then were back home and in bed by 10ish. What started out to be a terrible horrible no good very bad day ended up to be wonderful! It's hard to believe that at the end of this month its going to be 6 years.....WOO HOOOO, we did it baby!!!!
Thats it, I'll have to post pics tomorrow b/c Jonathan is pulling in and I am supposed to be cleaning the kitchen so he can bring in groceries.... <3

I totally get you with the whole "teachers stay at school" stuff. I'll see kids at the grocery store and they sometimes just stare in disbelief like, "why are you not at school?" It's so funny!
Your dad playing baseball.Shocker! Oh that was kinda weird Jonathon coming back from the bathroom with Ashlyn's teacher! Weird! J/K. Hope you all are having fun without me:)
Ha ha.. I never thought of that Jessica but your right, the bigger question is , why was Ashlynn's teahcer in the boys bathroom!?!?!? Hmmmm.... j/k
