so Heres the recap-

Lots of stuff happening....just nothing fun or worth blogging I guess.

We were sitting outside on Friday and Ashlyn and Alexander kept asking to go say HI to some neighbor kids so I told them sure! I thought it would be a good time for them to make 3 new friends (all girls btw, JAK was psyched!) and give me an excuse to meet one of the neighbors. So the little girls come over to play and then we all end up over at the neighbors house standing outside talking....I guess I was paying too much attention to Debbie, my neighbor, and not JAK cause he sprayed me with the water hose. I WAS SOOOO MAD! It was freezing outside and I had already told him to put it down at least a dozen times (the youngest gal kept getting it out) so as I am trying to get away from the water he got me and my phone soaked! Needless to say, I have to make a trip to the Sprint store to get a new phone now. BOO! I love my phone but for some STUPID reason I didn't get the insurance on it (we did on Jonathans but not mine) so looks like its back to el-cheap-ol-no-fun-phone! oh well, it is what it is..

Saturday we had a BIG Scare! I was gone allll day with the yard sale and then had my massage at 5 so by the time I got home the kids were all about mommy! Well, Ashlyn kept wanting BJ to help her on the monkey bars and he was trying to show her how to do it and when he grabbed the 1st bar it broke in his hands! Great! Thats what we needed I thought. Then without even thinking she gets up to go on the 2nd bar and it breaks! She fell straight down and laned right on her back. I literally watched the whole thing happen and within seconds was at her side. Jonathan was over by the shed and he just heard her Trying to scream so he runs over, BJ was on the porch and saw me jump up and run so he runs over to see what happened and JAK is just standing there wondering what happened to his sister! It was horrific! She couldn't breathe so she couldn't calm down. Then she starts to turn blue around the lips.....I couldnt believe that I wasn't freaking out! By the end of the venture she was dipping marshmellows into chocolate ovaltine and talking about how bad her back was hurting. After some TLC, motrine and spongebob cartoons she fell fast asleep. It was so scary! The thing that got me was that after all this happened and she got cleaned up and ready for bed she asked to pray. So, held her tightly and we said a prayer and asked God to take the pain away and wrap his arms around her and protect her through the night. I love the fact that she has a relationship with God. It helps that she goes to CHristian Academy and Cubbies. I hope that every time she gets a boo boo she prays :-)

so, that was our weekend and the others are here and gone and I don't remember anything intresting that happened with the so enjoy pics from moms party at work!

VICKY DENNEY TURNED 50!!!
I actually got to work early so I could decorate her office! It was fun....now I have to go in early again tomorrow to take it all down though, oh well. It was soooo worth it! She was defitnally suprised. Mom, Judy (my mom-in-law) and I also started Yoga tonight! it was great. I'm intrested to see how mom feels in the morning because she did the double doozie and started water aerobics too!

Mom's fancy smancy office that yours truly and Diane happily decorated. I didn't get to see her face though because I had to go do a pick up and then meet a customer to go over a job :-( Diane said she loved it!
oh, and this is moms new Lexus SC430 that she got!!! SO HOT!!! I'm hoping that she will let me drive it someday in my lifetime.

Did I mention its SOOOO HOT!!!! It's got all kinds of cool buttons and it is a hard top.

I am so glad that I have a wonderful role model to look up to. I'm not just bragging so I can drive your car in 10 years, I'm serious. Mom, I hope you had an awesome birthday and I love you. You are the best mom and friend that I could ever hope for and I pray that Ashlyn and I have the same "talk about anything" relationship and friendship that you and I have. You have been an inspiration and an Angel to me and I truly thank God for you. I love you mom!

ahhhhh, the week-end has come to an end

and so has my sleeping-till-I-want-to kick! Jonathan for the past 4 years has always let me sleep on saturdays and just gotten up with the kids. well, things have now changed. For instance: it's almost 1pm and I have been up with the kids helping them all morning while Jonathan studies and does his homework for the week to come. I want to take the kids to go run some errnds but I'm still not up for changing out of my VS Sweatsuit :-) so, what we did this weekend-

Friday- I had to work late to get a job out for the booster club that I was hoping would be done in time but as usual with all the other Pirate Pride jobs, it didn't go smoothly. the booklet maker was putting them together crooked, the staples weren't aligned correctly and then I messed up a few while face trimming them. Its funny to me cause people think, "oh, they just come off a machine ready to go", HA! if they only knew......
after finally getting that done and going home to get the blood, sweat and tears washed off I had to meet Jonathan and the kids at his moms for shopping. we were going to a really fancy wedding and he had to buy a suit. Long story short-he went shopping alone and I took the kids home. I got off easier than he did (me tinks)

Saturday- was the big day. I had TONS of stuff to do. Ashlyn and I overslept and almost missed out mani-pedi day with mamaw so we jumped out of bed, threw what clothes we could find on and ran to the salon. She loved getting her nails done!!! Yeah, mom and I have created a monster! After that I had to run back to c-town to drop off sis then run back to Jeff to tan, get a card, pick up some RX so I hopefully would't get a headache and so on... got that done, stopped by OMD's (Ol McDonalds in the Kane household) for lunch for the family, jetted home, ate real fast, got our bags packed and off to drop off the kids. I ended up just taking a shower and getting ready at the Seelbach so that I wouldn't be rushed. It worked out great, Jonathan and Kev stayed away so that I could "purdy" myself up.

The wedding was beautful and Jonathan got to see a lot of friends that he hasn't seen since HS. I made friends with a gal named Amy but after she dropped her 2nd wine glass I found myself back with the guys...I didn't want anyone to think it was me!!!! So, we danced, ate and made merry and then went upstairs to change for the after party! Let's just say it was a long night and my feet are blistered from walking and dancing!

Sunday-Jonathan slept most of the day while I hung out with the kiddos and we went to the grocery. I think that I will opt out of taking BOTH kids because after walking down the 3rd aisle and hearing "I WANT" about 3 million times I had to say a silent prayer to myself to not beat my head against a shelf over and over! I think its funny cause I'm never tempted to "beat" my children......just tempted to smack myself. LOL after that dramatic scene I went home and didn't do anything the rest of the night....lazy!

Today- I'm doing the same thing I did last night with the exception of cooking at least 2 times. I should do more than the laundry but I dk, it seems just as over-rated as cutesie wootsie toes ;-) well, if I don't feed these kids soon they are going to turn into monsters!!!!! I'll post pics tomorrow of the wedding and kids!

ahhh, nothing much to say except

I think that painting your toenails is totally overrated. I mean, seriously! I took mom and sis to get a mani the other day and we didn't have time to do a pedi so I have just been dealing with my half-there french on my tootsies and tonight I was finally over it!! The worst part about it is that I can't get my loving husband of 6 years to take my old polish off. I sure as heck aint gonna do it cause then I would mess up my nails and then I would just be disguisted. So, i simply decided to paint over the white with a red to match my nails and wouldn't you know that you can still see the white line!!!! Makes me so dern mad! I know that its stupid and I know I shouldn't worry but c'mon, I FINALLY quit biting my fingernails and I want them to look nice.. and although I haven't sucked on my toes since I was like 4 months old I still want them to look nice too. So, for all you out there that wish for pretty nails and toes that aren't married....make sure you find a man that will remove your toe-nail polish instead of doing his homework (JK, just for a min at least) and for those of you who have those men, you should give him a smooch!!

k-enough useless rambling about my not so cute flinstone feet! g'night ya'll!!


well, ok, i do have to say that when I was prego and going in to be induced for labor Jonathan did paint my tooties for me so that they weren't too bad when they were in the dr's face (haha, thats funny) BOTH Times! maybe I should have told him that I was pregnant

So, has any of you missed me? yeah- I'm sure you allll have...that is the 5/6 of you that actually read this...soo, heres the re-cap:
Lots of problems with migraines. I've been to the allergy dr., Dr. Godsey (LOVE HER) The Immediate Care Center, Saint Catherine ER, and the list goes on.....still no answer. I go for blood work and labs next week so hopefully they will find out what is going on with my head. We will see how dr. G's RX goes sometime soon. She told me that I need a massage....like I said...LOVE HER!
The house is moving along slowly but surely. We will be complete by this week-end because we are having a family reunion. I finally got my new french doors (thanks daddy ;-) so we don't have to worry about smashed fingers. I willl post pics when everything is done, promise. I don't want to show you know because it's crazy with just stuff everywhere! there are pics of the kids room but thats about it :-)
